What to wear to look cool and fun this year?

Hiiii! Gosh, finally. I’ve been talking about creating my own blog for months now!! Here I’m, let’s not waste time and parlons peu parlons bien as we say in French! This first course will be about trends in 2023 as you can seeeeeeeeeee!!!! So excited, sorry, last time I killed the « e » on my keyboard. Take your seat and I hope you got your pen and paper ready to take notes ’cause here we start.

First of all, I hope that you didn’t trow out your mom’s long skirts and dresses ’cause you’re gonna need it this year. There is a theory about a relationship between the length of skirts in fashion and economy, they get longer when economy is bad. Well, idk about you but my bank account is crying for help…I guess the theory is true then. Don’t expect me to shave my legs everyday to put mini skirt like last year!!! I love it!!!

About shoes, get your colorful sneakers out, even when it isn’t summer! We want to have fun with our feet I guess! These Adidas Gazelle give me butterflies in my stomach. And if you like boots like me, go get yourself a pair of MIUMIU boots on vinted, already got mine, been wearing them everyday! If it gives you Jenny Humphrey/Kate Moss vibes, it is totally normal, I’ll talk about it in another course ;))

Next, for cool outfit, steal your dad’s costume vest or thrift one ’cause it is a must have for this year. And JEANS OMG YES, I’m so excited when I see monochrome outfit, even more when it is textured. Wear jeans bottoms, jeans top, jeans vest, jeans shoes, jeans bag, you’ll love it! Talking about bags, as for skirts, mini is out, big is in. Take your tote bags, travel bags, idk what you have but take big bags! This trends is for me, I take my entire home when I go out and small bags give me headaches when I need to choose between taking my gloss or my wallet…

Some additonal ideas to accessorize your outfits: small scarfs ( if you don’t have one, take your dad’s ties, it really does the trick), metallic colors ( no sparkles, make it less but still shine, especially with silver!!!!) and touch of zebra (pay attention, do not over use it and choose it correclty otherwise it will not have the espected results).

Tadaaaaamm, I hope you liked this first course and got your outfits already planned for this year. I have soooo much ideas for this blog, but I’ll try to do it at my own rythm and still work for uni (’cause exams are in one month and I’m not ready at all).
